You can check if ActiveSend is working by doing the following;
Right-click on a file on the desktop and select Send To\Mail Recipient
You will briefly see an ActiveSend window come up. The window explains that a new message is bring created and the attachments are being uploaded. You will be prompted for your OWA username and password.
You new message will display on the screen with the attachment.
Changing the OWA account is easy, just open the ActiveSend Configuration console and on the General tab change the OWA address / URL. Here is how it is done;
Open the ActiveSend Configuration console (Start\ All Programs\Messageware Incorporated\Messageware ActiveSend\ActiveSend Configuration)
On the General tab enter the OWA address in the Address field. Type it in exactly as you would in the browser address bar.
Press the Check Names button to make sure the address is correct. You will be prompted for your OWA username and password.
On the Security tab you can enter your OWA username and password if you do not want to enter each time you send a file. NOTE: Be cautious not save your OWA username and password on a shared computer.
The ActiveSend Configuration console can be opened from the Start menu. Just go to Start\ All Programs\Messageware Incorporated\Messageware ActiveSend\ActiveSend Configuration.

With ActiveSend installed, you can set Outlook Web Access as the default mail client so messages are sent using Outlook Web Access. Without ActiveSend the options include only Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express.
You can change from OWA to Outlook or visa versa just by opening the ActiveSend Configuration console. On the General tab you can change the Default Mail Client using the drop-down menu.
Here is how it is done;
Open the ActiveSend Configuration console (Start\ All Programs\Messageware Incorporated\Messageware ActiveSend\ActiveSend Configuration).
On the General tab use the drop down menu under the Default Mail Client heading
to select the client.
Thank you for your purchase. You should have received an email containing the license key and customer number; this information needs to be entered on the License tab of the ActiveSend Configuration console.
Check Address will fail if the OWA address, username or password is incorrect. When pressing the Check Address button in the ActiveSend Configuration console the program makes sure that it can logon to OWA for you using the information you provided.
To ensure that the information is correct, do the following:
Open a new browser window and enter the OWA address you entered in the ActiveSend Administrative Console.
When prompted, type in the username and password.
Can you get into OWA? If you can, enter the same username and password when prompted by ActiveSend.
