September 24, 2012, Microsoft Exchange Conference (MEC 2012), Orlando, FL – Messageware, (http://www.messageware.com), the world’s leading provider of enterprise security, productivity and customization solutions for Microsoft Office Outlook Web App (OWA), today announced Messageware TakeNote, the company’s first “Apps for Outlook 2013” offering, at the Microsoft Exchange Conference (MEC 2012).

One of the first commercial  applications taking advantage of Microsoft’s new Apps for Outlook extensibility model, TakeNote is instantly available for both desktop Outlook 2013 and Outlook Web App 2013.  Messageware TakeNote enables users to quickly and easily add private notes to  email conversations and senders. Users can now stay organized by documenting information, such as follow-up calls and interaction with contacts, together in one central, convenient location.

“We are thrilled to be an early adopter of the new Microsoft Apps for Outlook 2013 technology,” said Mark Rotman, President & CEO of Messageware. “We appreciate all the support and encouragement we have received in the development and launch of TakeNote.  We are known for our innovative products for Microsoft Exchange, and are pleased to have also brought to market this year, both OWA Guard and OWA Desktop.”

The company is showing its OWA 2013 solutions, including Messageware OWA Guard and OWA Desktop, live at the MEC show. Messageware OWA Guard is the only security solution for Outlook Web App, providing logon protection and security intelligence. Messageware OWA Desktop is productivity software for on-premises and Office 365 environments, giving users complete control over their OWA session by bringing features and functionality to the user’s desktop.

Live demonstrations of Messageware TakeNote, OWA Guard,  and OWA Desktop are now being conducted at MEC in booth #7 through September 26, 2012. Messageware TakeNote is currently free to all users of desktop Outlook 2013 and Outlook Web App 2013.
