TakeNote FAQ

Q: Can TakeNote set an indicator on messages in my inbox?
TakeNote is an Apps for Outlook application. The current release of Apps for Outlook does not provide the capability of changing the Inbox view to show an indicator. We have added your request to our future enhancement list and look forward to making it available in TakeNote when the required Apps for Outlook functionality is available.

Q: Can TakeNote add a ribbon bar button to activate?
Interesting idea, but the current release of Apps for Outlook does not allow a ribbon bar button to be added.

Q: Can TakeNote add notes to messages I am composing?
Apps for Outlook cannot interact or alter with new messages that are being composed. We will have to wait and see what enhancements Microsoft is planning for Apps for Outlook in future releases.

Q: How can I see other notes I associated with a sender?
Open any message from that person and click on Sender Notes to view all notes related to the sender.

Q: Why is my activation pending?
PayPal processing times are dependent on payment method. Please contactappstore@messageware.com if your activation continues to show pending

Q: Why can I not change the email address associated with my account?
The Messageware Utility Belt is installed in and works with your corporate Microsoft Exchange Outlook, Outlook Web App, or Office 365 email account. As such, this is the email address that must be entered when registering the application for use.

Q: Do I need a PayPal account to renew my yearly subscription?
Although payments are processed through PayPal for your security, you do not require a PayPal account to renew your subscription.  You may use an existing account, create a new account, or complete the transaction as a guest using your bank account or major credit card.

Q: Why does the bottom of the pages/app menu get cut off after navigating around in the app?
This is a known issue with the current version that occurs while the browser toolbar is visible.

Q: Why does the app get cut off at the top of the screen when rotating my phone between vertical and horizontal views?
This is a known issue with the current version.
